What to Expect During a Hypnotherapy Session

During your first session, you’ll be encouraged to wear comfortable clothing to help promote physical relaxation. I will guide you through a relaxation induction, often involving deep breathing and progressive relaxation, which gradually eases muscle tension and quiets your mind.

Once in a state of deep trance, I use positive suggestions and mental imagery exercises to help reshape your stress response. You will remain fully aware and in control, but deeply relaxed. Some clients describe this feeling as similar to being in a dream-like state, where time slows down and everyday worries seem far away. In this state, your subconscious mind is more receptive to new patterns of thinking, helping you release negative beliefs and embrace positive ones.
 
After a session, many clients notice an immediate sense of relaxation and calm, but the true benefits often become more apparent as these positive changes integrate into their daily routines.
